How Church Can Change Your Life

How Church Can Change Your Life
Church means different things to different people. For some people, church is a place where Christian people gather from time to time to interact, socialize, pray and praise God.

Some other people see church as a place of worship where they go periodically to worship God, listen to the word of God, and be blessed by God. However, some people know that church is not a place, but is the instrumentality that God uses to facilitate the transformation of sinners into righteous people by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that God can use them to advance His kingdom on earth.
The secondary purpose of church is to be the Kingdom of God on earth. God’s three greatest passions for the church as a kingdom are orderliness, love, and power. Power is the resource for dominion. (Dominion refers to the imposition of righteousness over unrighteousness, peace over crisis, love over wickedness, light over darkness, life over death, hope over despair, goodness over evil, faith over fear, and triumph over failure.)

When we understand the Kingdom concept of our relationship with God, we will see the church with a whole new realm of knowledge, and understand that the Kingdom of God is about dominion over the physical and spiritual realms in accordance with the will of God.
